Fall Fun

Last week it snowed. This week it is warm and sunny. Colorado fall has it all!

Wednesday morning the boys played in the leaves. Our neighbor blew the leaves into a pile. Her little boy and my boys took turns jumping into the leaves and sweeping them back into a pile.

After the leaf fun we went to the park for a picnic and some fun playing.

Happy Halloween!

Our Halloween festivities started about a week before Halloween. We went to a friend's house for a pumpkin carving party. Andrew carved a pumpkin while I helped the boys decorate their pumpkins. Since I wasn't ready to give my 3 year old and 1 year old knives, they used Mr. potato head kits to decorate their pumpkins.

On Halloween we went trick or treating to a few neighbors houses before heading to the city rec center. The rec center has a carnival and boat rides in the pool.

First Big Snow of The Year

Our first real snow came a few days before Halloween. It was a beautiful snow.

Izee had a tough time walking in the snow but once he sat down, he discovered it was fun to play in the snow.

Kae helped build a snowman and really loved playing with the icicle that Daddy got for him off the house.

Circus Fun

The circus came to town so Nonna & Poppi took us all to see it. We went on a Thursday morning so there were lots of school groups. We had a super nice usher who didn't want to move a school group that were in our seats so he moved us up to the second row.

(Kae, Poppi, Daddy, Izee, Mommy and Nonna at intermission.)

We saw elephants, zebras, tigers and horses.

We also saw acrobats, magicians, tight rope walkers, and lots of dancers.

We all had a great time!
